Asher’s First Birthday – Some Woodland Party Photos!

October 10, 2016

This past weekend we celebrated Asher’s 1st Birthday with a Woodland Themed Party!
My parents came into town for it and they just left today. (tears!)
It was such a good visit and we miss them so much already!
Here’s a a few party photos for now… Can’t wait to share all of the photos and party details later this week.
You can see all of the party posts so far over on Instagram with #asherswoodlandfirstbirthday!
Sweet Asher was like mom are you seriously giving me this?!
And dove right into that frosting before he lost his chance. ;)

I love love getting creative for and WITH my kids (now that they are older!) and putting together these parties.
I covered two of our kitchen stools with crinkled up kraft paper to make tree stumps and did something
I never thought I would do in my life… hot glue moss and mushrooms to it. haha.
My mom and I were cracking up. So ridiculous but SO NECESSARY. bahaha.
These are the memories I’m so happy I’ll have with the people I love! lol.

Micah was seriously tortured to get a photo with his brother but Asher was, obviously, in awe of him.
A friend here gave Asher this onesie for his birthday and I HAD to put him in it for the party!
I had Asher in a little fox outfit when he was a newborn.
You know…back during those few weeks he was actually tiny.
::cue the mama tears:: ;)

The morning of the party, I looked over and saw Sophia holding Asher on her hip…
pointing out little details to him. It made my mama heart so happy.
They were SO excited for him to be turning one…
and.. so ready to help eat treats to help celebrate him. ;)
So thoughtful of them.

This was a fun one and I can’t wait to share more!
Thanks for the birthday wishes and party love over on Instagram. xoxo.

I love her holding him like that so cute!! He looks like he loves it too :)

My 4 year old tried to hold the 14 month old on her hip and it does not work out that well lol
