Chase’s 1st Birthday- Presents + Cake

Yesterday we celebrated our Chase turning ONE!! I didn’t know whether to cry or laugh, so I did both! haha. He has brought so much love and laughter into our family. FOR SURE the best part of our 2020! Here’s some photos of our day and the presents we gave our birthday boy!

CAKE:
Chase loved the attention of everyone singing to him! When we put the cake down in front of him he went to play with it and bumped his hands into the frosting. At first he wasn’t sure what to think of the squishy cold frosting but once he got a little taste, his eyes lit up! haha. Smash cakes are fun…and the siblings agree! They helped him get it going. One of my favorite parts about baby’s first cake is seeing their chubby little fingers pinch up tiny pieces to eat. Chase was so gentle with his smash cake! haha.

PRESENTS:
We did three gifts for Chase and they were all presents I could see him playing with all together… and he did!
The big brothers were VERY HELPFUL in testing out the toys too. haha. One of the fun parts of a big family…is that when it’s someone’s birthday everyone gets in on the new toy fun! (I LOVE Fisher-Price…as you can tell by what I bought. ;)

I LOVE that this Dino toy is sturdy enough that he can use it to stand up and it doesn’t tip over at all!

First birthdays are always so special. It was fun doing a quick photo recreation of the kiddos with Chase. These memories feel like yesterday…but here we are!
