Effortless Meals with Coca-Cola + Walmart

September 15, 2014

Some days feel like they are going in super speed.
My days fill up with things I need to do and things I want to do.

NEED: fold the mountain of clean laundry in my room that has turned into a kid gymboree, organize the shoe bin that was organized at one point but which has now exploded
and is blocking the door, do school work, dishes, blog and happy mommy box work,
run errands like buying toilet paper you can’t believe you need to
buy, because your 4 yr old doesn’t know how much toilet paper to use.

WANT: craft time with the kids, play time with the kids, 3 mile run at the gym, organize my room and bathroom so I don’t have another “where is mommy’s hairbrush!!” moment and
have to use a doll brush until I end up finding it under a kid’s bed.

Life gets filled up!
So sometimes it’s nice to have a little help in the meal department. Coca-Cola and Walmart have come together to make meal time a little more convenient for moms with “Effortless Meals!” It’s a variety of meal options – take ‘n bake pizza, yummy sandwiches and ready to serve rotisserie chicken. Effortless Meals lets me spend less time working in the kitchen and more time connecting with my kids, while still providing a good meal for them!

Going shopping with all three is always entertaining. haha.
Micah might have thrown a cantaloupe like a football and I caught it just in time. #momreflexes

After a morning of school and then a quick errand trip to Walmart, we grabbed up some sandwiches (or roll ups as the girls call them) and headed home for lunch! I love the food options they have. Look for the blue ‘effortless meals’ sign at your Walmart Supercenter.
I needed an easy meal that I knew everyone would eat. (Our plates are also from walmart! love these. Just got another pack of colors today too!) So big kid to toddler approved lunch: Turkey and Ham Wraps with mandarin oranges and pretzels.

I love the sound of kids happily eating. It’s as close to silence as I’ll get till bed time.

We also grabbed up a take ‘n bake pizza for dinner because we are in need of a fun quick yummy dinner for daddy to pop in the oven while I stay far far away from the kitchen. :)

Hey Natalie-Do you have any other information on how to get the plates? Who are they made by? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply, I actually have been able to find them on other websites for a lot less that what Wal-Mart sells. I’ve also found bowls, utensils and snack stacks. I’m excited to get these and I love that they are made out of recycled milk jugs plus they are BPA free! :)

I know this is an old post so maybe you won’t see this comment. and it seems small and silly but I saw a tip on pinterest that your post made me think of. About your kids using too much toilet paper: moms using stickers or decorative tape to mark on the wall a line of “when to sever the toilet paper” that way your kids know not to pull past that line so they don’t use too much! Idk I thought it was cute and maybe it could save you some money! (and hassle of going toilet paper shopping too much :P )
