I decided to have a little end of summer fun and
surprise the kids with an Italian Ice Bar!
I gathered up yummy toppings to pair with our favorite
Lindy’s Homemade Italian Ice and it was a hit with the kids!
We had candy and fruit for them to sprinkle on the flavor they picked out.
With how hot it’s been, this was the perfect
refreshing ice cold treat!
This was such an easy and fun summer activity!
My kids love how the Italian Ice is served up in the little cups.
(We wash them out and use them in their play kitchen.
They are the perfect size for the kids’ hands!)
I’ve learned that if you put anything in cute containers… kids are excited.
I lined up the Lindy’s treats and filled up the
little glass trifles with the toppings and it was like I did magic
before their eyes, they went gaga over the set up! It
does look pretty yummy. ;)

It was a quick set up and even easier clean up. As a mama, I appreciate
moments like this that are easy to pull off
and mean so much to the kids. They loved this even more
than if I took them out for ice cream.
Not sure where you live but it’s HOT here, so I loved the idea of a
cool down with these ice-cold treats and I didn’t
even have to load them up and out for an outing to the ice cream shop.
