Thanks for these idea resources. I LOVE entertaining – esp. throwing parties! Just had a 6 course Irish Dinner Party for 13 a couple of weeks ago. It was a blast (but I’m still recovering :-)) I’ll have to bookmark them for future reference.- Drop by Windy Poplars today if you like, and join our first ever Kindred Spirit Party! Hope your Wednesday is a great one.~

We were youth pastors when I was pregnant with #8. So, of course, the youth kids always had a lot to say about potential names.

When we named dear daughter Hosanna Joy … youth kids said that we had a problem on our hands. How could we ever yell at someone with that name … especially when you are mad and use both names. They thought you just couldn’t yell “HOSANNA JOY” in anger. Too funny!

First off … I rarely yell at my kids. Secondly, I have never used both names when I am angry. Thirdly, Miss Hosanna Joy lived up to her name and has hardly ever gotten in trouble. Seriously. She is one joy-filled young lady (now 13). So … I recommend naming your child the character trait that you want them to live up to. (LOL)
