Family Fun Video- Backyard Dinner + Smores

May 16, 2016

The weather here in South Carolina has been amazing!
We enjoyed some fun in the backyard this weekend.
Our plan to go strawberry picking on sunday failed because they were all picked out!
So we made a quick change of plans.

My husband, the grill master, made dinner while I ran to the store for smore supplies.
Thanks to the amazing recommendations of my instagram followers, we used reese’s this time.
AMAZING. I don’t think I’ll ever eat a smore the same way again.
Kind of bummed because the rain is coming our way for the next two weeks…
But thankful for the sunshine while it lasted!

I’m excited to be doing a new series on my youtube channel!
I have been wanting to document our family fun and will be trying to do a weekly video,
like this one, sharing a different activity that we love to do.
It won’t always be anything big like an outing, but just special
moments where we can enjoy each other and have fun!
I’m so thankful for this sweet family of mine. Thanks for following a long!
ps. I promise my kids wear shoes most of the time.

I’m pretty sure most of the chocolate was eaten without a marshmallow….

The metal tray is from World Market.
Walmart also has a great selection right now!
People also asked on Instagram about the Mason Jar Candles…those are from Michaels.

I’m excited to enjoy this outdoor space this summer.
I’ll share more of the backyard later on… but if you sign up for my newsletter you’ll be the
first to know when my Party Planning Course goes live!
I filmed the second party this past weekend…
and it was one on outdoor entertaining!
(leftover party flowers are the best.)

Love this Natalie! I am going to have to try Reese’s s’mores…never heard of such a thing! Such a cute family. What camera/lens did you use to shoot your video? I really like the film like quality. Looking forward to more videos in the future. I am striving to do this for my own family, but often remember too late…guess it is good that I am in the moment, but would love to have some video to look back on.
