Making Memories-Halloween 2011

November 4, 2011

We woke up on Halloween to carve our pumpkins!
I remember enjoying this a lot more when I was little…haha.
The stinky smell, the sore arms from cleaning them out..the crappy carving tools…..
BUT..sophia loved it! and it was pretty amusing watching
her make the pumpkins have conversations. ;)
And I’m pretty proud of the cute face I carved in her pumpkin…
ben said mine looked like a bear…but at least mine didn’t SCARE her like his did haha…

Sophia was mommy’s helper in the kitchen..
baking up some Owl Cupcakes to gift!
I stole lots of smoochies. :) and lets just say these cupcakes were very well mixed.

We stopped by to see the cousins in their
costumes and delivered some owl cupcakes!
Super Girl and a Fairy! How cute are they?!

I love sienna trying to pick her cousin’s nose…classy.

Sophia was so excited to show ava the owl cupcakes she “helped” make.
There’s always time to play kitchen. :)
We went trick or treating in our
neighborhood with some friends.
The rain wasn’t going to stop our little super girl and bumble bee…
Luckily we had a pink umbrella in the car to add to the funny-ness of sophia’s costume.
We didn’t go to that many houses but the girls got sooo much candy..
they pass out little goodie bags…….so nice!

LOVE this shot of sienna..our little bumble bee!
Stayed for a little dance party before
heading back to our house to pass out candy!
We ended the night trying to get through the sugar rush…..
just get through it…survive… haha.
Sophia’s face pretty much sums it up.
(we have LOTS of photos with sophia doing this pose.
she thinks she is hilarious.. ;) she gets that from her daddy!)
And we passed out candy to the rest of the big kids still going around in the rain..

ps. I came home looking like a wet cat. :)

Our friends John and Kate came over for a late Dinner..
Pot Roast that I put in during nap time. They brought Pie! yum.
And once we got the kiddos to bed we all watched dvr’d shows…..
Terra Nova and Once Upon A Time.

Loving seeing all of your Halloween Posts! Too cute.
Here’s my super girl in action. ;)
