Today we got another fun package of Mo Mail! Ever since the kids Aunt gifted them some Mo
Willems books one year we have been HOOKED. Most people that I talk to feel the same way!
Everyone has their favorite title and we just added two to our collection!
The newly released title, Sam, the Most Scaredy-cat Kid in the Whole World, is the follow up to
Leonardo, the Terrible Monster. My kids think both books are so fun! The Mo Mail team even
threw in a fun stuffed animal of Leonardo. They were cracking up over him! As soon as the
package arrived the kids dove in!
These books can cover a lot of ground topics you might need to touch on with your kids. Maybe
you have a child who is scared to make new friends, or might be fearful of things. Iām all about
books that open up that conversation with your littles. Our kids donāt have any huge fears but
plenty of nights they are afraid of the dark! Sometimes they feel shy when meeting new people.
They can relate to the characters and chat with me about things they are feeling or thinking. I
especially love how Sam and Leonardo are thankful for their friendshipā¦.

About Leonardo, the Terrible Monster
Leonardo is truly a terrible monster-terrible at being a monster that is. No matter how hard he
tries, he can’t seem to frighten anyone. Determined to succeed, Leonardo sets himself to
training and research. Finally, he finds a nervous little boy, and scares the tuna salad out of him!
But scaring people isn’t quite as satisfying as he thought it would be. Leonardo realizes that he
might be a terrible, awful monster-but he could be a really good friend.
The illustrations are so cute and my kids loved the layout of the booksā¦
