My Christmas Present to my Parents

January 1, 2014

I love sentimental gifts..gifts that really mean something!
I especially loves the ones that cause tears and squeals of aww.
One day I was looking at some footage we randomly took of my parents
and sister’s last visit…and knew I had to make a little video of it for them!
The lighting and cuteness was too much too not make a movie out of it!
I used the music they were originally dancing too..

I was burning the DVD and showed it to sophia…
“Oh yeah this is gonna make them cry”… haha.
I’m so happy we have this footage to look back on as the cousins get older…
and I LOVE the footage of my parents dancing. It was their anniversary that day. :)
I gifted the DVD in a case with a cover that I made up in Photoshop (with this photo)
And it said “Backyard Dancing” and under that I put a sweet quote
from Sophia when she watched the video…”That was a perfect day”-Sophia

I’ll post more of our Christmas trip to Charlotte soon!
It was the first time in 5 years that ALL of us siblings and our families
were together for Christmas.
It was awesome.

Still playing catch up from being gone all week, but wanted to share
the video I gave to my sister and mom and dad for Christmas.
One of their other presents was a print from Naptime Diaries…
because I love her. and EVERYTHING in her shop.
I chose a print for each of them. More on that in my Christmas post!
(ignore sienna’s bump on her forehead. moments before we had a cousin witha stick running at her accident…lol.)
