New Baby: Gifts for Hospital Visitors- TUTORIAL

July 7, 2010

Here’s the baby blessing that i came up with but you could personalize it to your little hearts content!
New Baby: Gifts for Hospital Visitors- Personalized Chocolate Bars
Major nesting going on here….haha. so i gave myself a fun DIY Project. i’m 35 weeks and feeling like i could go any day (but probably will go late…of course.. ;)
these little treats will be for any hospital visitors who come to see our little bambino and for the nurses/staff (chocolate always gets you better treatment haha.)
cost summary:
Candy Bars –  42 cents each..total spent $10 (they had a deal going on.. 2 six packs for 5 bucks via giant eagle.)
confession:a couple already eaten before they could get labeled…haha.
cardstock – already had
ribbon – already had
the ditty.. new baby blessing.. & design –  by myself on the computer
tape – already had

I liked adding the baby blessing because i feel like giving chocolate is great….but getting prayers during that crazy time of bringing home a new born will always help!!
there is something about having a baby and seeing a life come into the world that makes you think about how amazing God is and i want to share that “spiritual” in-awe-ness (??haha) with others.

don’t forget to enter the giveaway going on now!!!

i’m linking up to these parties today for wednesday! link up your blogs ladies!

What a sweet “thank you.” Love both the thoughts and I think it’s so nice that you are going to give them to the staff at the hospital too!

I’m not quite sure how I stumbled upon your Blog, but I’m lovin your wonderful ideas! I’m due in 10 weeks & I’d love to make these for Hospital visitors. IF you get time (I’m sure it’s not so easy with TWO little ones) I’d love some labels. E-mail me if you get a chance. Thanks a bunch!
