Parenting Expo

March 5, 2014

If you follow me on social media, you probably know I’ve been on a hospital tour of pittsburgh..
After a week and a half of horrible pain and testing, the doctors finally narrowed down what was causing everything and I had surgery this week! I’m in recovery now in the hospital… and going a bit stir crazy after so many days here!

Before the hospital festivities began, I had been talking to my friends about this cool
event coming to pittsburgh for parents and trying to round up a group of us to go together!
I’ve been getting text messages asking for details, so I thought I would share all the info
in one spot on here so you can check it out! If I wasn’t being discharged from
the hospital that day, I would be there!!

Parenting expo is a weekend event created just for parents!
I’ve shared info on blog conferences before, well this is something similar, for parents!
March 8th and 9th, Parenting fun is taking over the Monroeville Convention Center.
From what I saw, there’s talks by experts, family friendly activities,
product display, Giveaways, coupons and prizes…
mention swag and I’m there! ;)

I just looked it up and it says It’s only $8 per adult if you
get an e-ticket before March 7th.
But it’s just $10 at the door otherwise.
The times are Saturday 10-6pm  and Sunday 10-5pm

I know some of my friends are planing on going.
You should check out their site at Parenting Expo.com
The hands-on workshops for parents sounds cool.
I love going to the blog conferences because you learn tricks and grow as a blogger,
When I saw this is the same idea, but for parenting, I thought it sounded awesome.
It’s a family event! So bring your hubby and kiddos a long…
or make it a girls trip and load up the babies in the strollers and make a day of it
checking out the brands and experts!

Get more info on their facebook page and twitter too.
If you go take a picture and tag me on instagram!! Grab some swag for me ;)

This event is in pittsburgh but they have more coming up in Cleveland,
Columbus, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Would this be something you would go to?

I hope to go this weekend. I wanted to pass along a discount code for your readers–I think it is still good for tickets sold online today! Just use code BLUEPITPM and get another $1 off! (it’s a BLUE code–the website asks)! Hope someone is able to use it :)
