36 Weeks Baby Bump + Video

September 6, 2015

We are getting closer and closer to meeting baby #4!
The suspense of not knowing ifĀ theĀ baby is a boy or girl is really getting to me right now.
I can’t wait for that moment! We found out with our girls but waited with Micah.
Both were fun experiences, but not knowing helped meĀ get through labor and was totally worth the wait!

I’m 36 weeks and 4 days. (but who is counting??)
Usually by this time I’m like LET’S DO THIS!
But I actually would be ok going 3 more weeks…I have plenty to do and don’t feel ready at all!
It’s just the mind game with all these contractions that keeps it on my mind all day long.
I had a false alarm last friday. Got a nice date night to Triage with Ben.
I was so emotional. The nurse walked out and I started to fight back tears.
I think I just was feeling frustrated because they kept saying
it’s good you came..keep listening to your body…and I’m like I have no clue what my body is saying!!
Thankful though it wasn’t baby time yet…I wanted to get closer to my
due date and let this little one grow stronger each day!
My contraction app told me to go to the hospital last night…
They were rocking my world but I gave it a little more time and they ended up spacing out.

My body is progressing and things are happening that indicate labor is starting
butĀ not necessarily that labor is immediate.
It could be hours, days or weeks even! So I’m trying to not focus on
that too much, but pay attention to my contractions.
I have plenty of non painful (just annoying) ones. and then I also have
plenty of HORRIBLY painful ones.
Where I can’t move and want to hold my breath.
So hoping that those are doing something! Drinking water..and laying on my side more.
(pink shirt is me at 35 weeks and 6 days.)

I shared a shorter version of the following baby kicking video on instagram.
It had over 1,100 likes! I think it might be one of my favorite kicking shots I’ve been able to capture.
It’s extra special when the kids get to see it happen. I’ve been feeling these flutters and kicks for so many months,
Near the end it’s fun for everyone, even the person across the room lol, to see the baby kicking!

Thanks for following my pregnancy journey with me.
It’s been fun sharing with all of you and hearing your own stories via social media.
Can’t wait for the day I get to introduce this baby!
Boy or girl? Get your votes in now! I don’t have a prize…
Just your own satisfaction that you were right and know everything. haha.

Hospital bag post is coming tomorrow! woohoo!
