A Party with Elephant & Piggie!

May 20, 2017

We love Elephant & Piggie at my house, and were so excited
to partner with Disney-Hyperion on a sponsored post to celebrate 10 years of the series!
It was a rainy day over here so I threw a little Elephant & Piggie party for my crew!

They had sent us a box of supplies and goodies and I couldn’t wait to set it up for the kids.
I wrapped up a book for each of them, set out a snack and strung up some decorations.
Made some Elephant & Piggie lanterns to make it really fun.
We colored and did activities and then read all the books on the couch!

The kids love all of the Elephant & Piggie books.
Have you seen the newest series??

Best friends Elephant and Piggie introduce kids to their favorite books –
brought to life in original stories created by contemporary children’s book authors and illustrators.

The Good for Nothing Button book was the first one they all dove into today!
A button was also included in our box of goodies.
It makes a nice loud silly noise that the kids thought was hilarious.

The Good for Nothing Button
By Charise Mericle Harper
Recommended for ages 4- 8

Yellow Bird has a button. It does . . . nothing! It is a good for nothing button.

Red Bird and Blue Bird are excited to try the button. But when they press it, they discover that the button makes them happy. Happy is something! A flabbergasted Yellow Bird insists the button does nothing.
But it sure does seem to be making him mad. Mad is something!

The hilarious debate that follows takes readers on an emotional roller coaster
that pokes at the power of imaginative play.

Summer days are starting this next week so I was excited to see how much
the kids loved the activity pages they sent.
Even Asher got into the coloring!
