Great giveaway! My favorite book/s (right now) is The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. They are so good, even if they are teen books! When I go to Barnes & Noble I tend to go to the kids section because I love buying books for my son. What is it about children’s books that is so fun? :)

I can’t say I have a favorite book. I enjoy so many genres and styles that it gives me a huge variety of books to read. I love when I visit Barnes and Noble because, if I so choose, I can curl up anywhere and read a book. I always feel comfy and content-sometimes even more than in my own home!

I am a mom to 4, ages 9 to 3 months and I homeschool. To say that barnes and noble is like a vacation spot for me is an understatement. I get to relax, be quiet in my thoughts, no one rushing me. I love the coffee, the music, the parenting books, i love the little nick nacks by the accessories like book marks and pretty planners. I need to go this weekend. It makes me a better mom when I get time to myself!

My favorite author is CS Lewis. My favorite things about visiting Barnes and Nobles is the wide selection and relaxed environment to browse and have a Starbucks!

    November 6, 2014 at 6:15 pm

Going to Barnes and Noble is like stepping into a dream. I can get lost and spend hours in that store easy, especially with an attached Starbucks! In the present it’s like my own personal mini vacation. As a busy mom of two under three I rarely get to go alone, but when I do it’s a real treat. Although taking the kids can be fun as my oldest adores books.I have fond memories of one year, when I was about ten my mom took me once a month and let me pick out 1 book under $10. Then at the end of the year we donated all the books to a women’s shelter. Barnes and Noble stores will always hold a special place in my heart and someday, I hope, my daughters’ hearts too.

Funny thing, I’ve always wanted to work in a bookstore because I LOVE the smell of books and the comfort it gives me. So I love to get lost in the fiction section then find myself in a big comfy chair.

I could never settle on a favorite genre or book but what I read the most is young adult fiction that is primarily sci-fi fantasy. I was an English lit major so all the classics I read have a special place in my heart. To list a few of my favorite books: to kill a mockingbird, the great gatsby, seraphina, pride and prejudice, the bone season. I never read books, I devour them. What i love most about Barnes and nobles bookstores is how it is a haven for the written word and all loves of literature can spend time exploring different genres and discovering new authors. I love walking into Barnes and noble and the feeling I get when I find a new book or realize the second book in a series is finally out is awesome!

One of my favorite things to do on a date night with my husband is visiting Barnes and Noble to read and chat. We’ve done it since we were in college and still love to do it even today. It’s so relaxing and always sparks the best conversations. I also recently went to my first book signing at Barnes and Noble for one of my favorite cookbook authors. That was so much fun!

Favorite at the moment is The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty. I’ve read several of her books, they’re addicting!

Barnes & Noble reminds me fondly of the many times when I was younger and my dad and I would spend several hours exploring all the sections, sometimes separately and sometimes together. No cell phones as a distraction, just some really great literature! It is such a special environment.

I love going to Barnes and Noble to just get away. If I don’t have my hubby or son in toe, I can walk in and get totally lost. I lose myself reading a magazine I have not had a chance to read or looking through craft books wishing I had the time to do some of the crafts.
