Building vs. Settling In: The Family Room

September 21, 2021

I thought I would start a new series where I share before and afters of spaces! Even though the spaces are still changing, it’s fun to see where we were… and where we are today! Building is such an exciting process and it makes me smile looking back at the bones of the house where it all started. I remember walking through the house when we would stop by to see updates….and just picturing living life in these walls! And now…here we are! So for today’s post we are gonna dive into the family room. I love how bright and cozy this space is and love that we get to call this our family room!

Chase was eating a rice cake in his highchair while I snapped these sooo…Luca is on tv. haha. REAL LIFE.
I’ll link sources below for the main pieces/details… but let me know if I miss anything!

Builder’s Paint: Heron Plume(Sherwin Williams.)
Eventually we want to go with a lighter version of our fave: Revere Pewter(Benjamin Moore.)
Willowbrook Stone Sofas- Rooms to Go
Willowbrook Stone Chair – Rooms To Go
Round Accent Table: Target

So thankful for this home and the people that fill it! Even when they destroy the place. haha.

That’s it for the before and afters…here’s a few more family room shots!
You can follow along on Instagram to see more home updates as we settle in.
Our style is very family orientated with an emphasis on cozy and comfortable.
Nothing too fancy going on in our house but it feels bright, clean and homie…at least that’s my hope!
A house that we can make messes in…and fill up with people to celebrate the big and everyday moments. :)

Thanks for stopping by!
