I set up a series of posts full of practical concrete tips for making your space look decorated by a pro…but you can take all the credit. ;) and…you know what you are looking for…and what look you want so you go out bargain shopping and be the favorite person of your husband when you come home with money still left in your account. :)

Tip # 4 Textiles
Play up the Textiles in your space.
curtains, pillows, rugs.. doesn’t mean you have to go bold with the print but make them count!
find something lovely or totally you!

Curtains. i love to just window shop for curtains..i don’t know what it is. i don’t have enough windows in my house for all the curtains that i love!! hehe.

some lovely curtains from ikea… if you don’t have one close to you order online! the quality is very good.. i have them throughout my house and get comments on how great they look..so if you haven’t bought from ikea before..the curtains for the most part are great.

I’m awful at decorating and usually get intimidated before I even begin. When I read your posts I feel inspired. LOL!!! I don’t know if I can execute what I’m seeing all that well but at least I don’t get so overwhelmed, right?
We really need a new rug and now, thanks to you, I see some affordable options!

LOVE textiles. Our Kohls Store has the best selection of seasonal table cloths, etc.. This past year I have been buying new things for each season, so I think I now have 5 or 6 different table cloths (with matching runners and/or kitchen towels) … to rotate throughout the year.

I pick them up on their big monthly sales, and love the new style it adds to the dining room throughout the year.
