Chase had a Stitch Themed 4th Birthday party and I made palm trees for the Decor! Today I’m going to show you just how easy this DIY is – you can knock it out in minutes! My boys even helped me and we all had fun getting crafty.
Whether you are hosting a luau, decorating a beach themed classroom or putting together summer camp decor- you just never know when you will need to know how to make a Palm Tree. ;) (You can also check out the Instagram Reel I made showing just how easy it is to make these!)
SUPPLIES:
All it takes is a pool noodle, brown paper lunch bags and green construction paper!
(tape and scissors too.)
STEP 1 – Cut the tops and bottoms off of the paper bags.
STEP 2 – Slide them onto the pool noodles. I taped the first one on the bottom, so they stayed put as I filled it up. Tape the top one and you’re done with that step.
STEP 3 – Then just cut out your palm tree leaves and tape them on! I used just a few sheets of the green paper and free handed it.
I made two and used the palm trees on the dessert table. I was able to prop them up on the counter and then tape them to the wall.
It was such a fun party theme with lots of easy DIY’s and affordable Amazon party finds- you can see all the details here:
