Kids’ Rooms: Christmas Decor Tour

December 18, 2019

Today I’m sharing how we added some Christmas to the kids’ rooms! They had so much fun helping me make it festive in their spaces and I love how every room has a little glow now!

Our kids’ rooms are KIDS’ ROOMS…a place for all their little nicknacks and treasures – not perfectly styled but perfect for them! I’ve been working hard on getting their rooms all functioning and pulled together but also letting them have the things that bring them joy in their room! That can be tricky with moms and kid rooms….sometimes we want to make it all picture perfect and a certain look…. but I think that as long as the bones are clean and calming—-then I let them have fun with their own style and favorite things! Licensed stuff and all! ;)

OK. That was a side note haha but now on to the Christmas decor fun!!
We got a few new items and used a lot of what we already had in our Christmas bins to pull it together.
We had moments of clean rooms this week so I snapped some photos! ;)

First up, Sienna’s Room!
She loves all the pink things. She’s pretty organized and has little cubbies and containers always filled with things haha.
We put up some icicle lights we already had….and I had gotten her her own tree from Walmart. It was $25!
Last month I got some cute little Christmas treasures for her to put out on her counter tops- All Hobby Lobby.
The Car garland is from Michaels.

I need to do regular day room tour for her. but the basics:
Paint Color: Baby Blush by Valspar
Bed- Facebook Find
Rug – Rugs USA Pink Moroccan Diamond Pole Rug in size 6×9
Night stand – Target Pillowfort
Most of her pillows are Target or Justice
Desk is IKEA
Lace Curtains are IKEA
Unicorn Lamp is Target
Shopkin Shelf  and Mirror were Goodwill finds
Triangle wall shelf is Target

The Boys’ Room!
Micah and Asher share a room. I saw this big tree majorly on sale at Target – $30?? And I meant to get a white light one but ended up with the colored and the boys’ loved it! So we kept it!
Kind of fun having something different up. I added some tinsel from Target around their shelves (Target Pillowfort)
Their metal beds are from IKEA and I had gotten the green sherpa blankets at Target on Black Friday for a steal! $8?? I was pumped.
I also grabbed the Target Deer Pillows on sale this month.
We got a few nutcrackers this season – they are getting into it and so we did one for each boy to start off our collection! (Hobby Lobby)
I also got some of the trees on sale at Target to festive up their toy cubbies. The toy cubbies, dressers and curtains are from Target.
Room Basics….
Paint Color: Valspar’s Blue Grass Mood
I also got these black triangle decals on Amazon.
(You can check out the boys’ regular room tour here!)

Sophia’s Room
I love how calming and relaxing her room feels! I just wanna hang in there haha.
We strung up some Christmas lights we already had (using command hooks) and it immediately felt like Christmas time! I think she’s gonna keep those up all year long and I’m fine with that. ;)
Added some fuzzy pillows to her bed – The sequin one is from Michaels and the two furry pillows are Walmart. The red one is Target bargain bins.
We got this rose gold tree at Walmart last year ($25) Same one as in Sienna’s room just a different color option! I love how it’s skinny and fits right into the room without taking up much space. We had some garlands and cute little table decor from over the years that she styled on her toy cubbies.

Room Basics….

Metal Bed, curtains and toy cubbies are from IKEA.
Flip Sequin blanket is from Justice
