Dancing Into Summer Break!

June 2, 2016

Today was the girls’ last day of school!
I officially have a first and second grader. Craziness!
They have grown up so much this past year….turning into little ladies!
I love looking back at this photo from their first day of Kindergarten and First Grade…
They were SO EXCITED about their socks and new sneakers! ;)

Sienna insisted on wearing her backpack on one arm so everyone could see Anna and Elsa.
(The frozen love is still going strong people.)

We are all excited about summer being here and a kitchen dance party
turned into this summer is here video!
These girls just crack me up and I love their sweet smiles and dance moves.

Ben and I took the boys to go pick up balloons…
and strung them up through the sunroof when we picked up the girls.
They loved it!
We all grabbed lunch and then everyone took naps.
Seemed like the right way to start off summer. ;)

I hope everyone is having a great start of summer!
Last night my excitement set in. and then the panic. and then the guilt for panicking.
I am so happy to have everyone home and all the family fun we can have…
But I’m always a little nervous when the structure and routine we’ve known starts slipping away!
I’m ready to figure out our new normal with four kiddos home this summer.
Kids love routine! Especially if it involves the pool and popsicles every day!
Actively trying to be positive and embrace the crazy and fun of this season.
I’ll be sharing more of our summer strategies with our behavior chart,
chore chart and summer bucket list!

I love how carefree your children can be! So fun watching them have a good time in the video. Completely understand the summer panic! I am sure you will settle into a routine in no time!
