Easter 2023- Baskets and Big Family Fun

April 12, 2023

It was a great Easter celebration this past weekend! Made lots of special memories with family! Here’s a round up of our Big family fun and baskets.
Didn’t snap a photo of everyone in their church clothes…but oh well! We lived in pajamas most of the weekend anyways! ;)

Grateful for these moments where we could be joyful together. Big family life is always even more fun/wild during the holidays! I totally teared up when watching back the video above…it all feels like such a blessing when you slow down and really soak up your people.

So thankful for the way my big girls love their siblings. They are amazing big sisters and scoop the littles up and laugh together….I remember when Sienna was the one on the shoulders!

Of course we made the Sausage Egg Strata that we make every year!

The Easter Baskets were filled with fun for the kids to enjoy together- love a good activity!
Sophia had a cool Sneaker Coloring Book. Adding a bunch of the bunny finds over on Amazon: link at end of post!

Ben is always up for a dance session!

Ben’s Mom step dad and their crew came into town for the Holiday and it was such a nice visit!
We don’t get to see them often so it was a great few days to be together in our home. :)

Here’s a close up of the baskets! Having 6 kids makes this part of motherhood SO FUN. I honestly just love the whimsical and magical moments we get to be a part of in motherhood.
Passing on traditions that I grew up with to my kids… it’s a special season for sure. I know one day these days will look very different but have their own new version of fun!
Here’s some of the Bunny Finds over on Amazon!
Most of the Bunny Finds are over on Target!

Such a great weekend to be reminded we should live with a Resurrection mindset! Because of Him we can have hope even when life feels heavy…we can have peace and joy even when suffering. From a mama who is always trying to fix and carry more than I need to- join me in putting all the worry at His feet. Any sadness, shame, hurt and leave it there in the tomb. Walk out with Jesus as your strength and source of joy.  Hope you had a weekend full of smiles and family fun! Happy Easter Friends!
