Halloween Home Tour 2021

October 29, 2021

We have a lot of excited kiddos over here with Halloween just days away!! Come on in and check out how we decorated for the Holiday!

We had fun with big spiders all over the outside of the house, off Amazon, BUT…
they kept turning into FLYING spiders haha so we shifted gears and found ways to attach them to the house more securely.
The legs had wire in the them so we could bend them around lamp posts and beams. Not the original plan but the kids love it still!
We did this 2 pack of Spiders and this 6.5 ft spider.
We also got a spider web and spider pack…but didn’t end up using the web just the spider this time.
The web got all tangled int he mulch with the wind..hot mess. haha. don’t recommend that one.

I shared our front door Halloween decor last week, and it’s still such a fun door to come home to!
I don’t even try with mums anymore…I kill them immediately. The ferns from end of summer were still rocking so we kept them going.
The bats make it just the right amount of spooky for us. ;)

When you first walk into the house you see our big spider. Love this thing..they have them every year at Target!
I decorated our entry table with a few bats and some festive touches.
These are bats that we cut out years ago and have re-used..mixed with store-bought bats: $9.99 60 pack.

Our shelves in the Family room were fun to style! I kept things pretty simple with bats, a few decor pieces and pops of faux orange pumpkins!
Youtube has a bunch of tv screensavers… (some creepy so choose wisely haha.) I found this one though which was moving and randomly would have bats fly by…and flickering candles. A cool castle at night! The garland is an old one from Target and the felt ball garland is from Pearl & Jane.

The kitchen was made festive with the bats that we hang every year! I got these from Target years ago but here’s some similar ones.
I had googly eyes in our Halloween box, from last year, that I had planned to use on a door…but the fridge just seemed like the right spot in this house! ;)
I also found the perfect spot for my disco balls! When the sun hits them just right they fill up the kitchen with sparkles! These are from Hobby Lobby and are Christmas ornaments. Going to grab more this year..they’re so fun and can keep going into the next Holiday.

I found this cute candy basket at Homegoods this year. Thought it was too fun not to grab!

I like to always have a Holiday basket in the kitchen. I fill it with seasonal paper products and other fun things for the season. I like to grab the seasonal tablecloths that the stores put out…perfect for play doh fun or craft time. I always get the seasonal paper buckets/bowls at Michael’s.. they are perfect for popcorn bowls for the kids! The basket itself is from Hobby Lobby. The backside is actually the front with a little leather label that says ‘thankful’ for Thanksgiving time. I’ll just switch it out for November!

We’ve had this candy corn dish for years and it always makes me smile putting it out.
Not everyone loves candy corn, but we do in our house! Once a year we enjoy this treat!

Our sunroom is off our kitchen and I added some more bats from Amazon. They are just simple and fun!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you and your people have a wonderful Halloween!
