They started the day off with sharing about Sunseeker, the new product and then a Q.&A. After that, we all went outside to see it in action! Honestly, it was pretty incredible seeing all that it is capable of.

You just take control of the machine remotely, walking alongside the work zone boundaries to establish the working area. It has an AWD all-wheel-drive system with a revolutionary floating dual-blade design that provides a range of cutting heights, 0.8 to 4.0 inches, but also automatically raises the blades on rough terrain and dense grass. One of the coolest parts is how the Orion X7 employs visual perception algorithms to effectively distinguish potential obstacles in the garden. (With 6 kids we always end up with a basketball or two in the yard ;) It actively and precisely avoids obstacles, confirming their spatial size with accuracy and selecting the most effective path to navigate around them. The result? Cleaner cutting around obstacles, ensuring a meticulously groomed lawn without compromise.
You have all the control, right at your fingertips, with the Sunseeker App. Let’s say you already mapped out your yard, but you add a garden, you can easily go into the app and drop a shape right in that location and you’re good to go! This intelligent app goes beyond mapping and scheduling work plans–it offers real-time updates on the machine’s status and progress.
The Orion X7 has auto recharge – when the battery is low it effortlessly heads back to its charging station.
It has auto rain detection – allowing it to detect changes in weather conditions and automatically return to the charging base when rain begins to fall.
It has an Anti-theft option- you can rest easy because the mower comes equipped with GPS and a 4Gmodule to enhance the machine’s location information effectively.
Another cool feature is how the Orion X7 can connect with hardware like Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling voice control.
