Our Semi-Moved-In Home Tour! + Photos

Since moving to Louisiana 6 1/2 weeks ago, I’ve been working on making our house feel like home!
Decorating and organizing is how I relax, so instead of watching a show
I would hang frames or move furniture around. haha.
I can’t really relax if I have stuff everywhere! Well, I take that back..I can…
but I relax BETTER when It’s put together around me.
I wanted to share a little home tour so that you guys could see things that we have put
into place that help us function as a large(?) family!
And I also wanted to share some shots of the DIY projects I worked on that were easy and
pretty quick but immediately made it feel cozy and like home.

I’ll be sharing full tutorials on the Alphabet Wall.
Our style right now is very much functional, family friendly and comfortable.
We don’t have a budget to buy all the things we want, but we work with what we have and bargain finds.
I’m enjoying the simplicity of the house right now and even though we have plans for certain spaces…
For now, this is where we are at and I’m happy to do our daily routine in our home!

I’m so happy with how it turned out..and will constantly be redecorating that mantle. It’s just a given.

I recently joined Usborne as  Consultant…haven’t payed for any of our books since!
It’s insane!! Promoted to team leader and loving it.
