Hunter’s Paw Patrol Themed 4th Birthday Party

March 15, 2022

We celebrated our Paw Patrol loving Hunter turning 4…with a themed out Paw Patrol party!
The new movie had just come out around his birthday and it was on repeat in our house.
His favorite pup is Chase…so we had to do some cute and easy DIY’s to really make him come to life for our guy! Come check it out!

DESSERT TABLE
The Dessert table was a fun one to throw together-and AFFORDABLE!
Hunter kept saying he wanted a “new movie party”…but there really wasn’t a lot of party decor out there at the time with the new movie graphics. So I got a basic paw patrol sky backdrop off Amazon… and found a Paw Patrol Trunk or Treat kit that had the graphics for the Movie! (Liberty!) It worked out perfectly because then we could add the pups of our choice. (I just used packing tape to attach it all to the banner backdrop.
I used balloons and balloon string to make a garland and attached it to the backdrop frame. I use this frame for almost every single party we throw. (Amazon find years ago!- Here’s a similar option.)
I added in paw print balloons and did paw print tablecloth.

For the treats we did some of Hunter’s favorites: Rice Krispie treats, sugar cookies, Scooby snacks and paw patrol fruit snacks!
The hit of the party though were the chocolate chip muffins with Hunter/”chase” toppers!

I made the cupcake toppers by photographing Hunter, removing the background in Photoshop and used my Cricut Maker to cut him out. This is my favorite DIY to make for birthdays…always makes everyone smile! Especially the birthday kid. ;)

The cake was chocolate (as requested.) A favorite, affordable store bought cake that we decorated ourselves! I used a Paw Patrol cake topper from Amazon and some of Hunter’s pup toys (birthday presents.) We had gotten him the new Liberty toy!

In our new house, we’ve been using the sunroom for the dessert table set up. It’s been so nice with all the natural lighting!
When we were building our home this was always my plan…so thankful for this space to use for my people.
It’s used as a playroom on normal days…but when it comes time to party we move things round so we can use the space for the party table. :)

FAVORS
Hunter helped me fill up Paw Patrol favor boxes (from Amazon) with some candies. The kids loved finding their favorite characters!
This table is also where everyone ended up putting presents for Hunter.

Safe to say Hunter was PRETTY EXCITED about his paw patrol party. He was wagging his tail. haha.

The kids helped me bring down all the Paw Patrol toys we have! The party guests were INTO IT. haha. We had a bounce house set up inside for the littles to play in.
Best purchase ever. It’s handy because we usually rent a big one outside for the big kids…and this way the parents don’t have to take the toddlers outside if they don’t want to…they are entertained inside while we chat!

We had some snacks and dinner on the island…where all the adults end up gathering! :)
We did pizza for the littles and Mexican food for adults. It was YUMMY…and EASY.

It was a fun day celebrating our Hunter!! He didn’t know what to do with himself when everyone was singing Happy Birthday to him…he was loving all the love! ;)
