Quick and Easy Tortellini Alfredo with Bacon + Peas

February 2, 2021

If you’re looking for an easy and quick meal idea you are gonna love today’s post! We juggle a lot as mamas and some nights we just want something that’s warm and delicious to feed our crews, and a semi-homemade recipe gets the job done! Quick and Easy Tortellini Alfredo with Bacon and Peas is a dinner my kiddos devour and I think your family will love it too. If you have a little more time (or energy haha) you can make your own Alfredo sauce…but this is a no judgement zone here! Grab that jar in the pantry and call it a day!
INGREDIENTS:
Bacon
Frozen Tortellini
Alfredo Sauce
Frozen Peas
Salt and Pepper

DIRECTIONS:
1. First put on your pasta water to boil and drop in the tortellini once it’s boiling.
2. Get your bacon cut up (I use scissors) and get it cooking in a large sauté pan.
3. Pop your frozen peas in the microwave.
4. Once the bacon is cooked how you like it, remove it from the pan onto a plate. I like to put a paper towel on the plate to get some of the grease off.
5. The large sauté pan you cooked your bacon in is what you’ll use for your final pan! So I like to dab up some of the bacon grease from the pan.
6. Drain the tortellini and toss it into the sauté pan.
7. Now just mix in the bacon, peas and your Alfredo sauce of choice. Salt and Pepper to taste and sprinkle with Grate Parmesan if you like! Enjoy!

This is the perfect recipe if you’re craving a salty comfort food that you can whip together quickly. The crispy bacon with the creamy Alfredo covered tortellini just hits the spot! I love the pop of green the peas add and my kids can easily eat this up!
